So Good to be Home

We had a fantastic Christmas and were so happy to be able to spend it with so much family. A small part of opening gifts on three occasions within 24 hours felt a little greedy, but being able to gift and be gifted by those we love is always fun and a great blessing.

We have {started} the laundry that backs up when you travel, and now we need to tackle our house that is looking more than a little like a train wreck from the hustle and bustle of getting ready for our trips and then unpacking back into the mess. But, it feels nice to be back home and to get working on that and on getting a fresh start on this new year.

I know that we all get a fresh start daily, each moment of each day, to rethink, renew and refocus but there is always something about looking forward to a new year in entirety and creating a years focus and direction. I hope to make a poster size list of things I want to make sure I accomplish or try for the first time this coming year and place it where I can see it everyday.
