We have been very busy the last couple of weeks and this past weekend was a whirl-wind effort to get more finished on the house. We got to see Kyle's dad again for a couple of quick visits on his way to and from hunting in Colorado. Kyle's mom (Mari) and brother (Nick) drove down late Thursday night so that they could help us for the weekend. We all worked hard from early morning until late each night and amongst a few problems that showed up (including an emergency call to a plumber Sunday afternoon) =) we were able to get so much accomplished. Mari and Nick stayed an extra night and were even working up until the minute they left. It was incredible! A HUGE Thank you, Thank you, Thank you again to them!
This week started out interestingly. Kyle had been in a lot of pain and feeling horrible all weekend and after a Saturday stop in with a walk-in clinic produced NOTHING he went into our regular doctor Monday morning on his way into the office. Turns out he has a hernia that will need to be operated on very soon so we are waiting for a call back to see if they can fit him into a full schedule.
When Kyle finished with his appointment, Braylon and I were on our way to his pediatrician to have him checked out from having multiple bad falls this weekend and we wanted to make sure that everything was fine. Luckily he should be just fine but surprise, surprise.... he has a hernia too! Chances are his might heal on its own but they said it will probably get worse before it gets better so I guess we wait to see how that turns out.
Other than that we are just trying to get things cleaned up from this weekend and finish up more projects and start getting bray prepped for Halloween and trying out some new fall recipes. When I have things back in order I will post pictures of our progress.
